Nine frames from Leica Camera AG M9 Digital Camera, firmware 1.202, 2022-05-29 07:12–07:25. Within the same exposure, spots appear on sky, water, grass, AND car door interior/paint. For differently composed B01/B03 and B07/B08, bright-area dark-spot cross-correlation peaks at zero-pixel shift — spots follow the sensor, not the scenery. Consistent with Leica’s 2014 notice describing CCD cover-glass corrosion. These are case image samples, not a lab appraisal. Archived 2026-11-05.
EXIF (do not invent missing fields): all ISO 80; no GPS; focal length recorded as 0; no aperture in EXIF. Shutters: B01–B03 1/125; B04, B08, B09 1/60; B05, B06 ~1/45; B07 ~1/90. File mtime 2023-07-20 is a copy date, not the shoot date.
All nine (EX16a–i)

Public-record stills added with this archive day: EX17 (2014 notice full-text still — not a leica-camera.com page screenshot; official URL returns 403), EX18 (Red Dot Forum 2015-06-30 permanent fix — local full page of already-linked article), EX19 note under EX03 (longer Dark Room 2015-07-03 capture). A1 403 still duplicates EX01/EX02 → no new EX20. SATIRE advocacy: EX21a/b (same handling as EX14/EX15; not homepage hero; never favicon).
