The 16 July 2021 journal entry notes Kolari Vision starting a cover-glass repair around $999, with a stated lifetime corrosion warranty on Schott BG39/BG61 glass — after official replacement had ended. A later 4 December 2024 journal note records a German L-Camera-Forum thread where owners say Leica will not replace, and discuss Hamburg / Warsaw / China workshops for glass work.
