Who reported the M9 CCD problem: a source map by outlet type, 2014–2026 (alleged)

DE: Wer über das M9-CCD-Problem berichtet hat – die öffentlichen Quellen des Archivs nach Herausgeber geordnet: Leica selbst, Fachpresse, Foren, Händler und unabhängige Werkstätten. Keine neuen Tatsachen; Behauptung, keine Feststellung.

This note adds no new facts. Yesterday’s update listed what the company side is recorded as saying; earlier ones read the owner reports. This one regroups the same public record by who published it, so a reader can check each kind of source separately. Every line links to the journal entry that holds the original link; the full list is on the sources page.

What the grouping shows

As alleged, the story is not carried by one outlet. Leica’s own magazine and service pages, the photo press, owner forums in English, German and Chinese, dealers and independent repairers describe the same sequence: a 2014 goodwill text, a dated paid window from 2017, a stop on CCD replacement, and an upgrade programme offering newer cameras instead (promises vs delivery, timeline). Third-party glass repair appears only after official replacement ended (glass swap vs upgrade).

What no group contains is a numbered, point-by-point written reply from Leica to the archive’s twelve questions. Open items are on the questions page, in particular Q1 (2014 goodwill), Q2 (the 403 notice) and Q9 (the October 2019 stop vs the June 2020 estimate).

Open line as of 2026-10-27: no numbered point-by-point written reply to Q1–Q12 is on file. A company letter dated 2 October 2026 is on file; the consumer disputes its closure of the matter (2026-10-03 update). Allegations and unanswered questions only, not a court finding.
