This note adds no new facts. It points to an item already in the archive’s journal entry for 2020-06-24 and the order 1105973 case landing. On file: a 24 June 2020 confirmation of receipt (EX11), a 25 June 2020 estimate (EX10), related photo proof (EX12), and the mail thread titled “New order number 1105973 // AW: 1058152” (thread 172eacda7d88c2f9).
Why the date matters in this file: in the June 2022 exchange already summarised yesterday, Wetzlar’s Complaint Manager wrote that CCD production had been discontinued in October 2019 and that repair was therefore not possible. The June 2020 successor paperwork sits months after that later-stated stop date, while still linked to the disputed / open arc of order 1058152 (€1,303 + VAT is Leica’s quoted/assumed amount, not proof of payment; the complainant has seen no formal invoice, pending Leica’s explanation). Question 9 on the questions list asks, in substance, why a cost estimate for a successor order was still the live paper in June 2020 if sensors were already unavailable.
Open line as of 2026-10-09: /questions/ still lists Q1–Q12 with no numbered point-by-point written reply on file. Orders 1058152 / 1105973 stay on the payment-on-file record. Allegations and unanswered questions only, not a court finding.
