This note adds no new facts. It sets the dates named in Q1 (the 2014 “regardless of age” goodwill baseline, the 2017 five-year / €982 window, the 2018 €1303 step, and the later stop) side by side, using pages already on this archive. For the short word list see the glossary; for the sequence see the timeline.
1. What Q1 asks
On the twelve-questions page, Q1 asks how the 2014 public line of free CCD replacement “regardless of age” became later fee windows and a hard stop. The question does not invent a new fact; it asks for a dated, numbered account of that change of course. As of this date Q1 is still listed as open.

2. The 2014 free baseline already on this archive
Public coverage archived here places a free CCD replacement programme around December 2014: regardless of age, and — as later restated on this site’s side-by-side — including sensors already swapped. That text is the starting point Q1 asks to be reconciled with every later narrowing.

3. 2017: a five-year window and a contribution
As recorded from a May 2017 DPReview report on this archive, the regardless-of-age offer was scheduled to expire on 16 August 2017, with a €982 contribution for older bodies. That is the first dated turn Q1 asks HQ to explain in writing.

4. 2018: the €1303 step, then the stop
From 1 December 2018 the archive records a €1303 + VAT price class, later quoted to this customer by Customer Care. A Complaint Manager message later summarised here dated the CCD production stop to October 2019; Chinese service pages later still said the CCD cannot be replaced. Q1 asks how those steps follow from the 2014 baseline.

5. Where Q1 sits beside neighbouring open items
Q2 asks where the official 2014 notice now lives behind an alleged HTTP 403. Q9 asks for the last CCD-fit date against the June 2020 estimate. Q1 is the arc question: one dated written account of how “regardless of age” became a fee, then a stop.

6. What a short answer to Q1 would look like
A short numbered reply would do: the 2014 baseline as HQ now reads it; the dated turn to the 2017 window and €982; the dated turn to €1303; and the dated stop. Auto-acknowledgements and ticket numbers are not that reply. A company letter dated 2 October 2026 is on file; the consumer disputes its closure of the matter.

Open line as of 2026-11-07: no numbered point-by-point written reply to Q1–Q12 is on file. A company letter dated 2 October 2026 is on file; the consumer disputes its closure of the matter (2026-10-03 update). Allegations and unanswered questions only, not a court finding.
